Several possible subjects:-
1/. Recently announced £100 bn. offshore wind farms to be Hydrogen generators rather than electricity producers ? Not only provides a “storable” energy, but fits in with the UK demand for heating and transport fuels which are a much larger proportion of energy end use demand than electricity “per se”
2/,.£100 bn would, at £4000 per house [about] enable combined Solar PV and Water heating units and/or heat pumps to be universally installed. Benefit to UK industry as current wind farm equipment mostly made overseas ?
3/. Offshore floating wind farms to be considered as probably more economic than the “fixed” type ? Have a paper on this
4/. Wind turbines on buildings, have data on this part comes from [3] above, rest still in development
