Default The Sun and The Wind

The energy needs of the world are increasing by the day, with the supplies of oil, gas and other fossil fuels, getting shorter. It has become extremely important for the world to seek other alternate forms of energy. When it comes to renewable sources of energy, the wind energy stands at the forefront. This is evident in the growing wind investments. The wind power can be used in many ways, the chief way being its conversion into electricity.

The wind is the result of a shining sun. As long as the sun shines, the wind will blow and continue to generate energy. Wind power is the transformation of wind energy into other forms of power. The wind power is converted into electricity by the use of turbines. The kinetic energy of the wind is captured and transformed into other forms of energy like the electricity and mechanical power.

The generation of wind energy does not lead to soil, water or air pollution. That’s why, it is a preferred source of renewable energy. The wind, created by the difference in soil temperature, can be harnessed to be used in a variety of activities.
