It is easy to be cynical about politicians, but the PM's brother is not the PM, and the PM may not be the PM in October and is unlikely to be PM in a year. Campaigners can point out the dangers of nuclear power generation and it's high cost, but until recently it has been easy to say that nuclear is necessary to solve the climate change and energy crisis. This information could go a long way towards kicking the last brick out from under that polluting leviathan that is the nuclear industry.

I doubt if anyone will be reading. I note the our prime minister's brother was appointed as PR manager for EdF shortly after Brown got the job. It is therefore no suprise that such a talented man has enabled EdF to expand into a monopoly distributer in the SE of England and obtain an incredible position for new nuclear work. Incidentally the French government via French state supported manufacturers also presided over the closing of a large proportion of the power generation manufacturing industry. We can send the email but it probably will not be effective. Would a large cheque help prove the validity of the technical points to our political class ?
